Transcript of Council records concerning the Troy and Greenfield Railroad, 1875-1885.

The governor and council were responsible for overseeing the management of the Troy and Greenfield Railroad Company after it was placed in receivership in 1854. A transcript of excerpts from Council records ((M-Ar)327) concerning the railroad was maintained by the company. Entries include orders of the legislature, votes of the council, schedules of tariffs and tolls to be charged by the state for the use of the road, agreements, appointments, vouchers approved, warrants, and reports.
